Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between fixMy Apps LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("we", "us", "our"), and you, the individual or entity using fixMyKM ("you", "your"). The "Service" means the fixMyKM Android application, the activation files it delivers, the fixmykm.app website, the checkout flow, and all related support, collectively. These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy.

By clicking Pay, by activating any SKU through the Service, or by otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1.What you are buying

The Service sells one-time, hardware-bound activations. Each activation restores a specific All-Keys-Lost ("AKL") menu set inside the diagnostic app on a single KM100 Series key tool, identified by that key tool's hardware serial. We offer per-brand activations (Ford, Toyota, GM, Renault) and a "Full Restore" bundle that activates all four supported brand menu sets on the same key tool. You are not buying a subscription, a recurring service, a software license that you can transfer to another device, or any vehicle data.

2.Compatibility

The Service is intended for the KM100 Series of locksmith key tools (KM100, KM100E, and KM100X). We reference Autel here descriptively, solely to identify the hardware platform the Service is compatible with; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Autel. Compatibility depends on the specific key tool model, its current software, and on third-party cloud services that the diagnostic app on the key tool may rely on. We test against key tool builds at the time of release; future software updates from the key tool vendor may change behavior in ways we cannot anticipate. Section 7 below describes what the Service does and does not modify.

3.Pricing and payment

Per-brand activations are currently priced from $29 to $45 USD and the Full Restore bundle is $79 USD (limited-time promotional pricing; the regular prices are $49 to $69 USD per brand and $129 USD for the bundle). Prices are displayed at checkout in U.S. dollars and are inclusive of any flat fees charged by us. Taxes, where applicable, are your responsibility.

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full card number. Charges typically appear on your statement as FIXMYKM.APP; some issuing banks may instead show FIXMY APPS LLC. By submitting payment information, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge the amount shown at checkout.

4.All sales are final

All sales are final. The Service is delivered as a one-time, hardware-bound activation; once payment clears, the activation is available for use on the key tool bound to the purchase and the sale is not eligible for refund, return, or exchange. This policy is a material condition of the price; if it does not work for you, please do not buy. Nothing in this Section limits your rights with respect to chargebacks or payment-network disputes that you initiate directly with your card issuer or with Stripe.

5.License grant and reversibility

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install fixMyKM on the specific KM100 Series key tool identified at checkout and to use the activations you have paid for on that key tool. The license is reversible: you may, at any time, use the Restore-to-Stock control inside fixMyKM to remove the activation files from your key tool and return it to its prior state. Reversing an activation does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund; all sales are final under Section 4.

6.Acceptable use

You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:

• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from any part of the Service, except to the extent that applicable law prohibits this restriction;
• resell, sublicense, lease, or redistribute the Service or any activation file, in whole or in part;
• use the Service on a vehicle you are not authorized to service, or in furtherance of vehicle theft or any other unlawful act;
• tamper with or work around the license or hardware lock, anti-tamper checks, or any other security mechanism of the Service; or
• use the Service in any way that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction.

7.What the Service does not do

For clarity, the Service does not:

• modify the key tool's Android operating system, bootloader, or recovery;
• block, defer, or interfere with software updates pushed by the key tool vendor;
• communicate with the key tool vendor's servers or impersonate the key tool vendor's account;
• add support for vehicles, brands, or model years that the diagnostic app on the key tool did not already support before the software update; or
• store, transmit, or process key data, immobilizer secrets, or any vehicle-specific cryptographic material.

8.Professional use; disclaimer of warranties

The Service is intended for use by professional locksmiths and authorized automotive service personnel. You represent that you are using the Service in that capacity and on vehicles you are authorized to service.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless fixMy Apps LLC and its officers, members, employees, and contractors from and against any and all third-party claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use or misuse of the Service; (b) your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law; or (c) your use of the Service on a vehicle you were not authorized to service.

11.Trademarks and independence

fixMyKM is an independent product of fixMy Apps LLC. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Autel Intelligent Technology Corp., Ltd. or any of its affiliates ("Autel"), nor by any vehicle manufacturer referenced in our brand selection (Ford, Toyota, GM, Renault). All trademarks, service marks, and trade names referenced in the Service are the property of their respective owners and are used only descriptively to indicate compatibility or to identify the vehicle make whose AKL menus a given activation restores. Nothing in the Service should be read as a representation that any such third party has authorized or approved the Service.

12.Governing law; venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 13, you and we consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Frederick County, Virginia for any action not subject to individual dispute resolution.

13.Dispute resolution; class-action waiver

Informal resolution first. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] with a written description of the dispute and the relief sought, and to give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

Individual claims only. Any claim that proceeds beyond the informal-resolution period must be brought in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative action. To the extent permitted by law, you and we waive any right to a jury trial and any right to participate in a class action arising out of these Terms or the Service.

14.License is non-transferable

Each activation is bound to a specific KM100 Series hardware serial recorded at the time of purchase. Activations cannot be moved between key tools, sold to a third party, or transferred when you sell or trade in the key tool. If you sell or transfer the key tool, the license terminates as to you. We do not issue replacement activations for key tools that have been lost, stolen, flashed back to a stock vendor image that wipes the binding, or otherwise re-keyed; contact support if you believe you have a legitimate hardware replacement scenario and we will review on a case-by-case basis.

15.Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, including Sections 6 (Acceptable use) and 14 (Non-transferable). Termination does not entitle you to a refund; all sales are final under Section 4. The provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 19) will survive.

16.Force majeure

Neither party will be liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, labor disputes, internet or hosting outages, or actions taken by upstream service providers (including the key tool vendor or its cloud services).

17.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on this page for at least 14 days. Your continued use of the Service after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the changes, your sole remedy is to stop using the Service; previously delivered activations remain subject to the Terms in effect at the time of purchase.

18.Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights under them, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction without your consent. Any assignment in violation of this Section is void.

19.Severability; no waiver; entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect, and the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving the parties' original intent. Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not be deemed a waiver of that right or provision. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order confirmation we send you, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior or contemporaneous communications.

20.Electronic communications and acceptance

You consent to receive communications from us electronically, including receipts, security notices, and updates to these Terms, at the email address you provided at checkout or that is on file with our payment processor. You agree that any electronic record of your acceptance of these Terms (including a Stripe payment record) satisfies any legal requirement that an agreement be in writing.

No sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation is implied. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
